I am now on 30mg of oxycontin x2 a day, and its a horrendous drug. even 10 minutes late and you get sweats, pain comes flooding back from my pysical injury to my back and hips.
20 mins late and i get a horrible ill feeling in my stomache and dizzy spells plus the above.
30 minutes late, all of the above plus now its real slow movement and now the sweat turns into a torrent of sweat and now i feel real sick.
Phew. taken my meds now and the effects of being late are fading. its now replaced by red eyes and very very heavy eyelids, i need to sleep.
after an hour of sleep i usually awaken under the influence of Oxycontin but today i awaken to random vomiting while asleep once again. Nice drug eh.
well at last its 6 hours now and its all settled down. only another 6 hours till i go through this all again. my 2 am meds i sometimes miss if i fall asleep in bed or in my chair and my partner is asleep and kids.
And i just found out i am in the middle group in my esa medical. LOL.

My hubby so Supportive they act like i am really disabled at times and it inside affects me as i know whats going on!! And in denial a lot xxxxx
Yes its a funny drug, but once you get the dose right, its good at dampening the fibro pain. i have had every single pain killer on the market. since 1996 when i became fibromised but never knew what i had nor docs, they done tests and hit me with every drug known to man, finally in 2008 i was found to have fibro and i could finally fit into a pidgeon hole.
since then i have full support and everything possible done for me.
fre stair lift for when i can not walk far, walk in wet room show all new and free, adaptions to house, and a 1 month pain course.
now i can apparently learn how to cope with and try to avoid pain.
and my sleeping or lack of i should say was treated. Did it help, bits did.
And i am in the majority, because i am male and fibro mainly hits females. Anyhow, i cope and carry on and bring my kids up and thank god i have the internet which is the best drug ever for fibro pain.
Well done Maddy and great you have got everything too!
Your kids will be an asset to you aswell like mine are!

i do hope tou are feeling a bit better now love to you diddle xxx
Its what they use to bring heroin addicts off the drug and its actually a drug which is misused by hard drug addicts. Its morphine based drug. But its either the side effects or really bad pain. no good for fibro but superb for real pain.
