Op
Bless you - I have been there its not nice. you get youself all worked up n ready to be let down, im so sorry - hope you get it sorted soon - lotsa fluffy hugs to you - Mystique xxxx
Oh my heart goes out to you as there is nothing worse than working yourself right up for an op only to be sent home again,. I was in a similar situation myself recently but it was my fault in a way as they found I had a water infection when I went for the pre-op and even though I had a weeks worth of antibiotics the next test showed it still being there so I had to have my first hip operation cancelled. I was lucky a few weeks later to get a cancellation and jumped at the chance and now have had that one done very successfully. I hope you get called back quickly to get yours done and this time you go right on in there. Good luck with it. xx
Oh how frustrating; I've had it happen too when an A&E emergency (a guy in a motorbike accident with a punctured eyeball - yuk) needed my theatre slot - I was a lesser emergency so they did me the following morning. Let's hope they squeeze you in soon and get you sorted out.
Julie xx
I sympathise, I have a hernia which came up after my gallbladder op. I call it Herman.
Cheers, Midori

So sorry Crissy, that happened to my youngest son recently. He had had his pre med, was gowned up and marked for surgery. He actually walked into the anaesthetic room and was told the surgeon couldn't perform his operation today. The hospital rang me and asked me to collect my son, we never did get a reason why everything was cancelled at the last minute. He waited one month and then his operation went ahead, thankfully without a hitch.
I hope you don't wait too long Crissy, it's terrible when this happens. Take care.
