Well I attended my ESA Tribunal on Tuesday and as I expected got result today..... did not win my appeal. Seeing benefits specialist at CAB on Tuesday. Too sore today to say much more.

Stick with it Ruth, its a rotten system, Its a shame there isn't some kind of gadget that people could wear just for a day to actually feel and understand what we go through, then they wouldn't be to quick to refuse the assistance we need, instead of making us feel like we are trying to scam the government. Sending big hugs and smiles your way, keep us informed hun xx
Sending support & thoughts your way. I agree with the comment above made by tess10 ~ it IS a pity that there isn't a gadget so that others could experience the pain & distress that we do on a daily basis!!
I'm just about to be reassessed for ESA. I've been on incapacity benefit... Like you, I don't hold out much hope of being passed into the support group especially after watching the programme that appeared on TV (Panorama - "Disabled or faking it!")
"Fit for Work!!!" Fit for nothing is more like it...
Wishing you strength & release from your pain & distress - it's a rotten system!! xx
Will do, thanks for the support NN and Tess, in agony and tired today but can't go to bed as I'm having new washing machine delivered. It's sad when you look forward to an empty callendar isn't it
Gently hugs xx
I can so identify with that - the "looking forward to an empty calendar!" - just be gentle with yourself & take the rest your body needs to cope, we understand so well that this is not a choice but a necessity. A "normal" day is like a mountain to climb for someone with this largely unrecognised condition. Wishing you wellness. xx
sorry Ruth, go on FibroAction and click on benefits and fibro. there you can access the benefits and work info to help with your claims and appeals.
