Does anybody have any ideas or solutions to help combat the extreme fatigue? My solution at the moment is coke and lucozade through the day and a nap of about 30- 45 mins if i can get it in. I find even though i am so tired i still struggle to get to sleep at night.

hi i am just the same exausred most of the time yet still can't sleep and when i do its for about 3hours if im lucky.you have to re-evaluate your daily routine, and pace yourself, make a list and only do a couple tasks a day, when your up to it, i find going to a hydrotherapy pool helpful, still get tired, but we are suppose to do a little gentle exercise to help with fatique, and moods.and a warm pool is the best for us.on the worst days just take complete rest, as i keep saying tomorrow is always fresh to start again.tc soma x
Stop taking the fizzy drinks NOW the very worse thing you can do for your body. You need to get the very best food and drink you can. Ask your GP to send you to a dietician, its not just fat people who need to go. Have you had your blood sugar levels tested,
A friend who did the same thing as you ended up in A&E and was very ill with type 1 but as she was tired and thirsty kept drinking.

Both those drinks are loaded with caffeine which will not wake you up it will make you buzz and wear you out.....and then stop you sleeping. Pacing is the only way to balance energy....but acceptance of exhaustion is also important. If we could get rid of it we wouldn't be ill lol. Co enzyme Q10 helps. 200mg a day x
