Did Gabapentin cause you migraine?

I was so much better on Gabapentin but started to get severe migraine and even thought I came off the Gabapentine I am still getting migraine eight months later. Has anyone else had this

Yes i hope you got docs advice to come off.

Yes im on this every nite and get bad cluster headaches

Thanks. Yes took weeks to come off but still let me with migraine months later.

I ccouldn't get on with gaberpentin gave me really bad migraines but I have had these since my illness began anyway but some medications do increase the frequency and level of these I take duloxatine and am ok on this instead I also have accupuncture to help with the migraines this is really good worth a try

Interestingly at 300mg 3 times daily I had more migraine and significant amount of excruciating cluster headaches, but thinking on it... since I was changed to 600, 600 and 900 (am, pm and eve) I have been WAY better. Increase was due to pain not being sufficiently controlled but a jolly improvement on the side effect.

Just a thought....
