Fibro migraine

Hi guys in desperate need of help as have had bad migraines for over 3 weeks no (apart from the odd day migraine free). Have posted previously on the forum about this as doc said it was the co-codomol which I stopped over a week ago. Can anyone relate to this and if so what medication do you advise (had eyes checked all ok). I think this is related to my Fibro and don’t no what to do as laying down starts pain in my hip and coccyx so cannot get comfortable. Thanks all x

I think you will need to ask your GP or Pharmacist as it will depend what other meds you take

Hi I was on co codamol doc stopped it cos of migraines and gave me medication called sumatriptan work's really well for me hope you get something sorted soon 🤞

I was having around 3 migraines a week but since I started taking Amitriptyline I haven’t had a single one. Not everyone can take it but I’ve taken it just over a month with only dry mouth as a side effect 😀

I have topirmate every night and if one gets through I have a tablet that melts on my tongue and one that goes in between my jaw and cheek to stop the sickness. But the topirmate stops most margarines getting through. Sorry if I’ve spelt things wrong Fibro fog head today.

I suffer with migraines and have ended up in hospital with them, having tried numerous types of medication, i now do meditation for chronic pain relief as soon as the flashing lights start and if i catch it quick enough it really helps me, good luck as migraines are awful
