. . . for giving me this lousy bug!

He had it at the weekend, I started a sore throat on Monday and it has been venturing down into my upper respiratory tract ever since.

I started coughing in the early hours of Tuesday and just kept coughing & coughing - then something went "crack!" in my lower back during one bout and a wee while later during another there was a cracking sensation in my neck and I quite literally saw stars. I've been using my blue puffer a lot more often than I would normally do so I managed to get to see GP on Tuesday afternoon. He gave me Doxycycline and said I could use my pink puffer 3 times a day instead of twice until the cough clears up.

I cannot believe just how increasingly sore my back has been getting since hearing those cracks & I'm now getting bad muscle spasms as well so going to have to see doc again cos my 30/500s doing nothing except making me drowsy.

I had a day out today seeing my friend who I've not seen for positively ages - we had a great time catching up but by the time I drove back home I was in agony and could hardly get out the driver's seat. My son who had come with me to see his "Auntie" had to come help me out the car door!

Go back and tell your Doctor about your back, it could be anything, a good friend of mine cracked a rib coughing! Take care Cazx

I did that last year! It was a cross between the coughing and then a couple of weeks later my sister-in-law digging her elbows in my ribs telling me she was sore laughing while we were in the audience at the recording of Mrs Brown's Boy (you can hear her on Episode 4 - Supermammy)
