It has been some time since I posted on this forum although I follow the blogs and questions with interest on a regular basis. I have had quite a stressful time over the last few weeks what with one thing and another so decided to have a break from posting or replying to posts. I think sometimes it is easy to pick up on tension and issues surrounding other people and often this can drag us down without us realising how involved we are becoming.
I know things have been very tense over the weekend and some members have been upset by the goings on and just maybe when we feel like this it may be a good idea to take a step back and have a break for a while. This is an excellent forum and purely by the nature of the illness people are suffering from time to time the going will get tough and people are going to experience a range of emotions when these things happen. It would be a real shame to lose members many of whom have given lots of support to other members and have made valuable contributions to the site.
I feel sad to think that friendships on here may break down and would urge anyone feeling a little vulnerable at the moment to take a step back and recharge their batteries. You may never know how much your input has influenced another forum member in the past or what impact it may have on others in the future.
I feel ready to have some input into the forum again now so hope to be chatting to you all very soon.

You explained the situation very well - sometimes our tolerance levels can be affected when we don't feel well, if we're in pain, tired or just rubbed up the wrong way! As long as we learn something from this, that's the main thing. I think we are all ready to move on now and look to the present and future in our lovely forum!
