is it a central nervous condition ?

Hello Moss, Raynaud's is a common disorder in which the small blood vessels in the extremities are over-sensitive to changes in temperature - hands and feet particularly. With Fibromyalgia we can also have a sensitivity to light, sound, touch, and heat - either hot or cold. It is not implausible that Fibromyalgia sufferers can also have Raynaud's too. With Raynaud's the blood supply to the extremities, usually the fingers and toes but sometimes also the ears and nose, is interrupted. During an attack they become first white and "numb" looking. They may then turn blue and finally red and burning when the blood flow is restored. There may be considerable pain, numbness or tingling. The sensations felt can be comparable to those felt with Fibromyalgia. Raynauds used to be called Raynauds Disease, but is now simply referred to as Raynaud's, it is considered to be a circulatory condition. Hope this helps. :) :)
