Two blogs in one day,I am getting brave.

I had the risk assesors come today to go through all my needs,medications I`m taking and to check flat was health and safety appropriate.

Then to my amazement I was told my carer who I will have 1 day a week for 3 hours starts tomorrow.

It`s going to cost me £42 a month,but I have someone coming next week to help me fill in form for carers allowance.

OT have been,and on wednesday I get my bath lift seat installed,a thing to help me get in and out of bed,a loo raiser(lovely...not) and a perching stool for the kitchen.

My landlord has given me all the paint for my bedroom,hallway and kitchen and my neighbour is going to do it all for me.

Plus joy of joys a very nice lady moving in upstairs,we share the garden and she really enjoys doing it.Was getting worried as it was all getting too much for me.

So all in all pain aside it`s been a good day.

butterfly that is so good to hear it will make life so much easier for you my carers are wonderful with all that i have wrong i actually am very lucky i get a total of 44 hours aweek from dwp and independent livng association. they make a big diff. petal
