Hello and welcome May! Great to have you with us here in our lovely forum! You will find lots of help, support and suggestions here, we are all in the same boat and are always here for each other! :) :)

You mention that you have Fibromyalgia and that you have pains in your legs, this can be really nasty can't it. I have that myself too. Do you take any medications for your Fibro or for your leg pains?! If you take a look around the posts and also the tags which can be found >>>>>>> to the right, there are posts for restless legs and leg pain etc. If you have trouble finding anything just shout and we will help you along the way. There is a message I have just posted on for restless legs, if you look at some of the Questions ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ which are listed above in the darker blue line at the top and also look at the Blogs you will find information there too. :) :)

Click on this link May, there are lots of posts on it for restless legs and leg pains etc. Hope this helps! :) :)

hi 1961may i suffer from violent pains in my legs i have cfs/me fibromyalgia im currently taking gabapantin and amitriptilyn im waiting for an appointment from the pain clinic for injections in my legs i know how you feel as ive just had three days in a row of unbearable pain no sleep last night hope you are ok today joed :)

Have you mentioned the numbness to your GP May, if you haven't, I would suggest that you do to make them aware of it, to rule out other conditions maybe. It's always best to be on the safe side if you experience any tingling, pins and needles or numbness. I hope you get some relief from this very soon, take care. :) :)

Welcome May, check out eveything on fibromyalgia.org which is a seperate site from the forum. When I googled I came straight to the forum and it took me ages to realise there was more to it. Maybe you weren't that dumn! We are 3378 and growing so somebody here will always have experienced what you are going through not to mention the fabulous volunteers and staff.

Welcome form me too. :)

My legs are so painful and stiff and it doesnt matter what i do they still hurt. I try and walk abit a day as i know if i sit around they are worse for some strange reason.

I am on gabapentin too and they do help but more my arms than my legs.

My calves hurt all the time and when i go to bed the really ache and it feels like all my muscles are contracting.

Hope you find something that helps.

hugs, kel xxxx
