I have had so many flares, I seem to just be recovering from one when bam, another starts. I'm so tired and so sore. What can I do to change this pattern? Does anyone have any ideas please?

Hi Papnvos, welcome to the site ☺ im sure you will love it as we all do

I must admit it's like that sometimes, I'm exactly the same at the moment.

It's very hard some days. What medication are you taking ?

You should go check the mother site to this forum there is lots of useful info on Fibro.

I'm going to try to sleep now, so speak later

Hi Papnvos

Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make acquaintance. I am so genuinely sorry to read that you keep having flare ups and I was wondering if you have talked about this with your doctor as they may be able to tweak your medication or change some as to end your flare ups.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself

Well I was diagnosed nearly two years ago but wouldn't accept the reality as a nurse I thought there had to be another reason. Well recently flares fatigue and pain finally made be put the hands up and accept the situation. Undertaking lots of research I found people recommending CBD and hemp oil it's early days for me but I am feeling better so perhaps worth a try I bought mine through Amazon but Holland and Barrett do stock and the hemp oil was from there . I know I feel better tentatively but could just be coming out of a flare ...either way I am grateful ....

I've never heard of using hemp oil for FMS (although I seem to have tried most things). How do you use it? Eat it or rub it in? How and in what quantities?

Hemp oil can be taken as a capsule or used in cooking . Instructions obvious on bottle . CBD capsules tincture or vapour i continue to improve ,,,,,hope this helps you

Hi there I am a nurse manager so try really hard not to use tradional medication particularly as I have kidney issues and I need to be able to function for work. I have had great results with hemp oil and Cbd but research these and take a look can't hurt or cause harm.

Hi. Yes I'm using hemp oil & cbd with great results to date. I use a vaporiser & I have a number off different flavours to use. It's looking very promising ,just need to get the balance right. If I use to much it blows my head off but I do get good pain reduction. I need to carry on to get things balanced.

Yes I agree I use a moderate amount of CBD but with the hemp oil capsules the higher quantity works for me . Feeling the best I ve felt in ages great sleep and nice dreams lovely
