THE PRINCESS IN THE STORY..".the princess and the pea."..she must of had fibromyalgia..right ?

i cant find comfort...on anything i know its fibro but does anyone know if a waterbed helps..do they heat up aswell ? or its 2 piriton and a can for a couple of hours kip...arghhhhhh

Oh yes! lol I often describe myself like that! Can't bear a tiny stone in my shoe, feather sticking out of a cushion, even cut the labels out of my clothes as they feel like barbed wire!

I have a memory foam mattress, but when I'm in a lot of pain even that doesn't help. I end up on the sofa surrounded by feather cushions & 2 heat pads warmed up in the microwave, thats ok til the hot flush comes.....Grrrr xx

lol. so recognize those feelings, even the shower water hurts on low!!!! I describe my pain, at best, like when you fall over and scrape your skin, it stings and burns, all over. all down hill from there, but 'keep smiling' luvnhugs xxx chrissie xxx

i know i hate having a shower for this reason but getting in and out of the bath is traumatic isnt it thanks for info x

Lol that was my favourite fairytale as a child, I always wanted to be the princess of course, little did I know it was tempting fate Seriously though, I've found that sleeping with a pillow lengthways next to me helps me support my back and hips more comfortably. Also if you get lower back pain putting the pillow between your legs can alleviate the pressure (a physio told me that when my sciatic area was bad). Only problem is there's hardly enough room for me the boyfriend and the pillow - may have to get a king size bed lol. x

i used to be in pain always but worse with pressure and touch lately,,me with this and hubby has to knees with ra. pillows galore everywher x i will try that with the pillow between the knees thanks for advice x
