Hi, I've not had a proper nights sleep in over 5 years, the aftermath of an over active thyroid. thankfully the hideous disease has now been cleared up by meds and treatment but my legacy from it is fibro. My doctor thinks the thyroid disease kicked off the fibro. so thanks for that. :-{ , seems like everyone else i cannot get a good night sleep, i wake up several times in the night, sometimes i nod off other times like last night i'm awake for several hours. I was prescribed sleeping tablets and they do help now, (nothing helped sleep with the thyroid...omg if i got an hour a night i was lucky but as you're always on the go you don't notice!!) but my doc says only to take them once or twice a week, so what do i do for the other 5 nights!!! love to all, shattered.com xx
