Peanut butter and I don't like chunky kit kats but for some strange reason I am totally addicted to peanut butter chunky kit kats .
I'm craving them and I'm not pregnant . trying to limit myself as I've already had the strawberry muffin earlier and if I'm going to fit into this wedding dress I HAVE to stop eating so much
Somebody pass me a lettuce leaf ...
It's strange ( and probably a coincidence ) that since I've had Fibro I've developed cravings for sweet things whereas previously I preferred savoury foods .
Hi Helen, i never liked cranbury sauce, yet now i love it. Odd dont you think. Whens your wedding hunni?? hope you dont mind me asking. hug and love to you. Helen xxx
Why couldn't I have gotten addicted to something healthy... like carrots or tomatoes lol.
6th of June Helen , I'm dreading it ! Still at least afterwards I can stuff as much chocolate as I want Shhh don't tell my fiance though lol .
lol hunni. A friend of mine is getting married in june too. im off to her hen night. god knows how im going to stay awake. Got to get to her house for 12:30pm. Then it finishes 12am. Most the time im in bed by 10 at the latest. Its a week sat. im looking forward to it, but what happens if i go out for the count lol. Think of all them kit kats you can have after your wedding hahaha. I wont say a word hunni. hug & love to you. Helen xxx
Oh noooooooo I don't think I could manage a hen night , I'd like to slink in to the registrars office with the other half and 2 witnesses and be done with it .. But family wanted a " do " .
If you nod off during the hen night party just tell them to prop you up in a corner on a nice comfy chair and collect you on the way out
I'm already building up a nice stash of kit kats for after the wedding
it's a shame how this condition tries to stops us being able to have a social life isn't it ? Everything has to be so carefully planned out , it takes the fun out of it .
I hate being the centre of attention and having a fuss made Helen , when I first started to arrange this wedding I was going through a good spell and thought I'd be able to cope, but as it gets nearer and my health is getting worse again I'm starting to dread it ! At this rate I'm going to need tranquillizing to get through the day LOL !
Hi Helen, your right everything does have to be planned. I think i might need tranquillizing for the hen party lol. I hope you get a good spell soon. Hugs & love to you hunni. Helen xx
No see i love peanut butter and i love chunky kit kats but i dont like the peanut butter ones lol.
Peanut Butter and banana sandwiches are my fave
But i know what you mean i absolutely have hated green vegetables but now i eat spinach and brocolli. I just wish i could lose my sweet tooth.
I quite like veg and some fruit but if there's a bit of chocolate lying around it worries me , I can't leave it lol .
I used to love nana sandwhiches but now I can't stand them ! I still like nanas but not with bread .
I'm getting too fussy in me old age !
xx
mmmmm, i also seem to crave sweet things and generally my taste buds have changed. Wonder if it is the meds I am on.
My favorite bar has to be a Star Bar ( sure thats peanut too) very retro lol.
mmmmm only if I could swallow at the moment, yoghurt and ice cream for me.
Night Hun Lou
Nighty night Lou , hope you feel better tomorrow . ( I like Star bars too ! )
My 'thing' is anything vinegary - which is allegedly not great for inflammatory conditions, and I have been told by several different alternative therapists to avoid it ... but I just can't ... roll-mop herrings, balsamic dressings MMmmmmm.... but of course a Magnum ice-cream always go down well too!
Ohh I didn't know that Suzy . I have vinegar quite a lot too . Something else to avoid
Try peanut butter and cold crispy lettuce sandwiches...divine I promise!!! and there is the healthy bit...teehee. But honestly it works well!
But... but .. I don't actually like peanut butter fibrodude.... lol . Obviously unless it's wrapped up in a kit kat ! Hmmm I'm not sure kit kat and lettuce sandwiches would work
Hi Helen, I'm the same with sweet things, I crave chocolate like its going out of fashion and I'm not pregnant either. When I was younger I always choose the savoury option with a bit of sweet but now I am completely the opposite. I like chunky kitkat athough I havn't tried the peanut butter one but I could kill for a bar of cadburys chocolate (it has to be a big one though!). Angela xx
I love Cadbury's too Angela , in fact I like most chocolate apart from white .
Having said that though I was bought a bar of Asda strawberry and white chocolate at the weekend and it was delicious ... and at 50p a bar a complete bargain too. I really didn't think I'd like it but you have to give these new things a go don't you ? lol
oh dear, yes I forgot about the peanut butter thing and went off on my own taste tangent! Sorry. Another sarnie which id delicious is cheddar and lemon curd...yum!! try that one?
As naughty treats go fibrodude that one is quite angelic lol . I love strawberries but they disagree with me so I can only eat a very small quantity or I suffer for it all day .
Can't eat lemon curd either but I am fond of a good old cheese sandwich !
My sister and myself don't like anything chocolate orange but love Jaffa cakes, also I don't like coffee but love coffee cake and cappucinno bars from Thorntons.
Strange isn't it ? I like the cappuccino bars too . I love chocolate but don't like chocolate flavoured things , chocolate sponge cake for instance !
Mine is just about anything sweet - but I'm not mad about chocolate itself. I'v had this all my life so can't blame it on the fibro. I find it gets worse after I take certain meds when I sometimes resort to bread and jam with sugar sprinkled on it. (hangs head in shame),
Awww don't hang your head ! it's the little treats that make life worth living , especially when dealing with a long term illness or disorder and a little of what you fancy does you good !
cheese and jam sandwiches, bacon and marmalade and sausage and marmalade rolls. aaaahhhhh love them!! x
Ha ha.. you like sweet and savoury together Mattjam ! I've never tried that , but I guess sausages and marmalade aren't much different to having turkey with cranberry sauce !
