okay as well as fibro have tested positive for hyperthyroidism and hypoglycemic ,, i have no one else i can ask this but is it normal for a body to sweat what smells like the horriblest clay smell ? its making me sick between the sweat the urine and the faeces ,, im too scared to go out in caseanyone else can smell it

well you get smells with both of your complaints, both make you

perspire as does fibro

The thyroid gland causes us to sweat. When it's working overtime, as with hyperthyroidism, the body excretes an excessive amount of sweat even with little or no exertion. Diabetes is one of the more common causes of body odor

but the smell with this is apungent body odor I always think this smells like

neil varnish remover maybe the two complaints together may give you this

clay, smell or maybe its your medication combined.

You need to go to your doctor and explain to him as there are a lot of

reasons for this, I am only a nurse but I should think it may be your

medication but dont stop taking any of it make an appointment.

viv, I have fibromyalgia, and I sweat of and on all day my clothes are soaked told the doc but they just dont seem to be bothered anything I can get to help or say to them that they might take action? Kathx

Poor you to have 3 illness that make you sweat, also if you are on

tramadol that also will make you sweat.

It must be allful for you and if your Doctor does not listen even

worse but maybe you just have to tell him that it is making

your life miserable.and explain to him that it is changing your

life as you cant go out.

Maybe ask him if you could have an infection that would cause

this.

I think I have seen a few chat rooms for hyperthyroidism so maybe

it might be worth looking to see what other people have experienced
