you are very lucky if you are being put in the support group, I had a letter to say my contribution based ESA is ending on 30th April and I will be getting absolutley nothing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! dam great after paying contributions for 42 years !!

Same here and been told appeal can take anything between 6 - 9 months. What are we expected to live on in the meantime ? Perhaps better off to be in debt, may then get thrown into prison where we can languish all day And get paid for it,..

Hi.I am on income based ESA and just had "the letter" saying it stops in October. But doesnt say what to do after that.Like Ebony, will I get nothing? If so, what do I live on? "The letter" grossly underestimated my difficulties, showed no interest in how much pain I get,or the length of time Ive had to struggle with this illness and related illnesses.(about 30 yrs). So, what next??
