how do u go about getting direct payments

was wondering how u go about direct payments.. what does it actually mean.. know its different from carers allowance... any help would be appreciated

Im at present having an assessment by re ablement, Ive got a carer coming in 3 times a day for 2 weeks to see how much help I need it will then be assessed for direct payments which I can use for my care

i got in touch with social workers n they came and assesed how many hours a day i needed help and they did the rest
