How long is it when you have filled in your DLA form before you get an answer??? love diddle x

I think it is six weeks for the latest. Contact them if you have waited longer. Mine took about 3 months but they had made contact within 2 weeks to say they were requesting info from my doctor.

It should say exactly on DWP web pages. Good luck

it can take up to 24 weeks, Ive been told theyre refusing alot now, so have to appeal, an appeal can take 12months, good luck, take that time to get all you evidence together

Mine took about 5 weeks but "Computer Says No!!"

lol that did make me laugh sorry x but i am expecting not to get it but will try and see how it goes love to you diddle x

It took about 6 weeks after my first form, they refused. I wrote back to ask them to look at my claim again, they got that on the 19th of this month, I got a reply today saying they are looking and it could take up to 11 weeks before I hear anything and if I do not hear from them in that time to ring them after 11 weeks.

I heard there is a back-log so a wait might be longer than 3 months, but you never know ;0)
