Hi, I've just finished a short course of CBT. It was good talking and the idea behind it is good. Not looking into the past, but living in the minute, all that sort of thing, but it was only 6 sessions (I think) and thats not enough for me. Its an NHS course that I did. I think that people who have problems remebering things need longer to learn a new thing and make it work. I'm glad I did it though and if you have been offered a place I'd take it, I'm sure some people do better than me and I feel I've gained something. Love Sue

unfrtunatley im not a good candidate for it `s my problems are more deep seated but i do know it can be useful for other people with fibro x

Hi there,

I had cbt for my anxiety, and i wasnt really expecting much, but i did help me.

It has not cured it but it has made me think how i can stop it getting to the destressing state.
