i keep seeing alot of people saying they have low vit d levels should i get mine checked out or would i be able to tell if they were low
vit D: i keep seeing alot of people... - Fibromyalgia Acti...
vit D
thank you i cant understand why my doctors have never checked this before
I live in an old Victorian house which is very dark especially all through Winter and Spring. I have been taking a supplement Vitamin D since last Autumn and i have noticed a slight change in my energy levels. I have no doubt i was Vitamin D deficient as i virtually see no light at all, no natural sunlight either. It's always best to get your levels checked if you think you are deficient because you may need a supplement. Perhaps in your case Jules you should get your levels checked as they may have altered in 6 months and you may need a supplement now.
When my pains started over 30 years ago now-I was recommended to take cod liver oil (vit A &D), I also take vit C,& E on a regular basis, -didn't notice any significant difference and things have got worse over the years but looking back I wonder if it did make a small difference and allowed me to cope better than I would have with out taking them, also later was recommended complete vit B complex, this was by a specialist in Harley street--don't over do them though as A & D unlike C are not flushed out of the system--do read up about them before taking supplements --don't expect immediate changes it's usually a long term thing
