Well today I went back to work after 3 weeks off.............why I don't know as it has killed me, I ache all over, my shoulders and back are on fire and my head is banging.
After the 2 hour drive I should have known better, but it has to be done, because the bills ain't going to pay themselves.....time to look for something different and a bit closer me thinks....
Hope your day was a bit better than mine and you are not in too much pain..

Hi freckles31, i know the feeling i have had a week off and need to go back on Wednesday... i have to commute 2 hours there do a full day then 2 hours home... i too am looking for closer to home preferably part time as i know i am going to be the same as you once i get home
I know its hard but put your feet up and relax as best as you can

ive been signed off work for 2 week i only work weekends but im dreading going back as the reason i was signed off is because i fell over with no reasons to my legs just gave way im now scared it will keep happening and dont know what to do

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL WHEN I WAS FIRST TOLD I HAD THE CONDITION I WAS TOLD I WAS STILL OK TO WORK BUT AFTER TO DAYS OF GETTING UP REALLY EARLY GETTING TO WORK DOING 8.00AM TILL 6.00PM LOOKING AFTER UNDER 5 IN A DAY NURSERY THEN A HOUR AND A HALF TRAVELING HOME AGAIN FALLING OVER AND FALLING ASLEEP ON THE JOB AND GETTING WORSE BY THE DAY IT BECAME TO DANGEROUS I KNOW IT WAS TIME TO GIVE UP AND START TAKING CARE OF MYSELF OR TRY TO I AM IN BAD PAIN TODAY AND I MISS WORKING BUT I KNOW IT WAS THE RIGHT THING TO DO FOR THE SAKE OF THE CHILDREN AND THE OTHER STAFF AND MYSELF HOPE YOUR NOT IN TO MUCH PAIN LOTS OF LOVE AND VERY VERY GENTLE HUGS
It is so frustrating, I was told the same as you lucindaJane, that I was ok to go back to work, but after the drive I still felt dizzy, so had another week off unpaid, so had no choice but to go back today........ It's a really long day too, I am up at 6, to be on road by 6.30, I don't start till 8.30.........and then I'm not home till gone 6 most days, managed to slope off early today....lol.... So with that, I'm pretty much dead on my feet, I don't think ill make it till Wed......... 
Hi good for you for doing that but dont make yourself in a state if you cant do it see if you can do part time or come another arragement nothing is worth your health take care and hope you better today love Diddle x
