Great news for you i am going to look into it next week all councils seem to do it different ways but will give it a go can only say no and then i will re apply lots of love and soft hugs Diddle xxx

I got mine just before Christmas, I applied several times. I think they gave it to me to shut me up!!!! I don't know for sure but I think someone was watching me, A woman in a Corsa slowed right down and looked at me while I was out with my dog. I think she was checking that I did walk with a stick. I got my badge a week later. As I say I'm not sure! Good luck, hope you get it. It's so nice to be able to park nearer to the shops. x

Hi I got my Blue Badge last week too.Makes life easier as dont have to struggle to get near the shops.It only took 10 days to get it.

I've had mine for 3 years!! Don't think I would have got round to leaving the house if I hadn't got it. Up here (Aberdeen, Scotland), if you have one you can also apply for free bus travel. Just contact your local council. It's handy when the weather is too bad to drive or if you do wander a bit too far from the car to get back to it.
