has anyone who can walk but not far with fibro applied and got a badge, and any advice would help, oh pn lower rate of dla for mobility and care, and wrag esa ...

Im not on any benefits but ive just been awarded my blue badge, I had a supporting letter from my social worker, detailing my walking problems I canwalk but it causes severe pain

hi have you asked your doctor , i got a blue badge this week , i can walk but have to keep stopping and starting, my legs feel very heavy, and painful, i asked the doctor if she would sign it if they sent it through to her , i dont know if she did sign it but they have awarded me one, ask your doctor she might be able to help.good luck sue xx

I have applied for my blue badge. I do have the support from my GP and Rhuematologist, lets hope thats enough, walking is just too painful

i took my form to the doctor and she signed it and gave it back to me i attached a copy of the form you get with dla mobility claim as well. i do have chronic degenerertive arthritis heart failure and a few other things wrong...but they were not all listed on my application p

I took my application form into the local service centre at the library my doctor was asked fkr a report and I had my blue badge within a week. Hope you get sorted.

Hi im on low rate care and mobility DLA and just been put in the support group ESA and i got my blue badge about a month ago, I just filled it out online and got it about 3 wks later, I was expecting to have to fight but no not on this occasion. Hilly xx

Apply for your Bus-PASS as well if your on dLa and you,ve a blue badge you can apply for a free BUS-PASS as well and travel up and down the country for free. You can get this from your council offices as well.

I dont understand this one?? I have just filled in my form for my blue badge but on mine there isnt anywhere for the Doctor to sign. Ann x

I was told by council to get a letter form my Dr to go with application, I then had to go for an assessment with an OT at my local hospital. I got my badge in January and the OT's report is so different from the ATOS one I have sent it to the tribunal service to go with my ESA appeal x
