Hi can anyone advise me please? Living in Scotland was on HR mobility and HR care... but the benefits for pip/dla have now migrated over to ADP jan25. In Scotland. I was on indefinite period of time at the time of pip but since I've recieved new updated amount and time it says I will be reviewed again on Feb 2026. So far so clear 👌 however I'm a pensioner and in receipt of ADP statutory state pension along with pension credit😫 sorry this is such a long 📫 I have been diagnosed with a brain tumour so attending neurological surgeon to find out if this can be treated ie surgery/chemo.. I've read i have to notify the agencies? Of change in health condition 😌 if I do will they take what I already have top allowance and make me reapply. Or will they just leave things as they are i honestly can't go through all the applications applications for benefits 🙃 sorry if I've not made myself understood..the joys of having a brain tumour. Please if anyone can advise me I'm feeling ill with worry..thanks for taking the time to read this post may you all have a blessed day💖🕯🙏🏻

I would inform them. Your recent diagnosis will have a great impact on any review. In reality it is further evidence of ongoing disability problems.
As Dizzyto says I am sure a benefits advisor will help you as just reading your post shows the severity of your health problems. Please try not to worry and accept all the help that is offered. Thinking of you with love
I am in Scotland to and my pip/adp was reviewed in October 2024 I got it rewarded until 2027 although I am not quiet pension age (I’m 61) .
I did not have to do a face to face it was over the phone were they just went through the usual day to day things.
I did not find it too bad if I’m honest although I didn’t think it would be reviewed again in 3 years.
It must be the new normal reviewing in a certain amount of time , I also get your frustration when you thought it was indefinite and wouldn’t have to go through the process again.
I would get help with like citizens advise or something like that to fill out the forms if your anxious about it.
The citizens advice bureau will be able to help you through the maze of benefits and who to contact They certainly assisted me and we're very helpful
Might be worth booking a phone call
I didn't even have to go to the centre as travel can be a challenge
Good luck and take care of yourself
Ty so much for your advice and reassurance I really appreciate your kindness.xx
Ty everyone for all the help and reassurance I will try and get help from various agencies I'm absolutely shattered with all this these people have no respect for sick and disabled makes me mad as heck having worked from age 15 up too almost retirement and you have to prove how unwell you really are meanwhile they try their hardest to deny you your rights. Xx
Just sending warm hugs...Your predicament sounds dire and then to research more paperwork must fill you with even more angst???
I am truly sorry 4 what you're going through... It reads really grim!!

Oh ty so much for you kindness it's really comforting ..I'm still coming to terms with all these problems and having to try get my head straight to talk about this to a stranger my memory is really impaired and it can take a while for me to hold a conversation which I'm afraid they might interpret as me withholding info and I frightened i can't answer their questions..oh dear this is to much pressure. At the end of the day I won't recieve anymore money..so sorry about this stupid rant.. but ty for your patience and empathy.. big girl pants on and try to face this torture. Bless you 💖🕯
I can truly understand yr angst totally! XTry and write prompts down which will aid your thinking+delivery when you do speak aloud.
It can clarify your thoughts and maybe you'll be able to group ideas together on paper with arrows and then write a larger copy for when you need it.
I try and do this at the Dr's!
Relying on memory is hopeless?
I had an important neurology mtg on Monday+when he started rushing at the end I had no opportunity to scan my notes and I forgot so much!!
Good luck Pinot xx
I have recently had a review and after that had a heart attack, I also live in Scotland.
If you go in to the Scottish government website and log in to the social security part you can add on any new information that you have updating any new health problems or information. It is very easy to do and allows your assessor to see your updates and medications that have changed .
