interesting reply.specialist suggested lidocaine but Doctor would not prescribe.the excruciating pains are in the neck and shoulders.even morphine does not help-hence our interest in injections.
Lots of doctors won’t prescribe it, it’s expensive, has she had any investigations done?, scan mri, before going down the injection route, I would suggest you speak to the doctor, and find out what is going on.
I get the same pain, it turned out not to be Fibro pain, but nerve damage in my neck and spine. I had nerve pain injections, but it doesn’t last long.
I’ve had steroid injections before at the hospital and at my GP surgery. The hospital injections worked immediately but GP ones didn’t do anything to relieve pain.
sedation 🤔😳Best thing I have ever done wrt pain is to give up diet coke and everything else with artificial sweeteners in. Definitely try that rather than phsrmacalogical options imho.
