Hello From when you first apply for universal credit is it a long wait?

And if you do get awarded it, when would you receive any payment.

Thanks everyone

Hi it's five weeks for first payment from date of application. You will get your award the 4th week and payment the 5th week. I'm waiting myself for mine to be sorted. Hope this helps.
