Hi all.My husband works full time.

I recieve pip.

I have applied for UC.

They turned us down for that. As he ears high Hmmmm ,he really does not.

I've sent a 2 month certificate in. And sent another 2 month one in last week.

Looked at our payment date but we get nothing

My question is....

When roughly will my assessment be?

And am I likely to receive any money at all? As I haven't worked in 4 years and I definitely can't return as I have fibromyalgia (diagnosed 24 years ago. And have severe anxiety and depression.

I just wonder if it's all worth it?

Thankyou to anyone who can offer any information

Hi Nope. No savings.

Just wages and a small pension

hi Bertjolly, have you tried completing a benefits calculator to get an indication if you’re able to claim UC.

There’s a good one called turn2 us. I’m not allowed to add a link here but if you type it in Google it will pop up. Good luck

HelloYes I have.

I've tried a couple I've had had differing amounts.

And a different one said no.

I can't work this out

Maybe after the assessment whenever that is I'll have a answer either way.

unfortunately they will take off your husband’s wages at 55p for every pound he earns and the pension, call the FM Benefit line for advice. You should also get advice about your national insurance contributions as this can affect your state pension. Good luck with it all 🤗 x

Good morning Thankyou for your reply.

I will look into both of those thankyou.

But not feeling hopeful about lwc or lwcra or whatever it is

Wish I'd never started it.

A family member advised me.

So I shall just wait for the computer says no.

Thankyou again x

Morning all, I'm in Cardiff. I was recently advised by the council hub that all pip will be transferred over to universal credit. Apparently this has been in the background for sometime, we were advised do not claim until you get your letter from pip/ universal credit. If you already have a pip award to wait for them to contact you. My son has a lifelong award, no re assessments he was awarded in 2008.

I would speak to a professional before you stop the claim xxx
