I'm having lots of blurring with both glasses and contacts, recent eye test was fine?
Also lots of head and ear pain just wearing glasses hence the contacts.
You honestly can't win! 🙄
I have very blurry eyes and have a sensitivity to light. The optician gave me eye drops and tinted glasses which have both helped. I would go and see your optician. Some migraines can cause visual disturbances too (I get those too) but the optician can advise you on that too. I hope you get it sorted soon.
best to go and see an optician
Hello Pastafox,Sorry to hear you're having problems with your eyes.
As has been said, best to make an appointment with your optician.
My optician wrote a letter to my doctor, asking that I be refered to the hospital.
I have dry eye, which am given eye drops for. My eyes still go blurry, but the eye drops help. I find keeping hydrated with water important as well.
Sending gentle hugs x🤗
I recently went too Specsavers for my eye test , also paid 10 pounds for a more in depth scan of my eyes , they want me back in 6months too check on one eye again, it’s something they are offering now and well worth doing , they were so helpful and explained anything I did not understand , recommended for a visit , hope you get some answers very soon .
sensitivity to light getting worse and although I have new glasses, not absolutely sure they are right.
Go to an optician. I have just had to as my sight is going in my left eye, Apparently Something is growing on my Cataract implant, Nowadays with the difficulties in some regions in getting a GP appointment, the Optician is the best place for anything to do with eyes!
Cheers, Midori
No problem,
Both my son and I have eye problems, his are to do with diabetes, and mine are from long term shortsightedness and cataracts; which has resulted in something hairy growing on the inner side of the implant in one eye. Apparently it will have to be lasered off !!
EEEK!
Cheers, Midori
Nobody in a 'caring' situation should be snappy with you, or any patient. As I former nurse it is the height of unprofessional conduct. I know folk in the NHS are having a rough time right now, but they should still be polite. Might be worth having words in the ears of those in charge.
