Pregablin

Hi. I have an itchy scalp, but I have always had it, so don't know if it is part of fibro. It does itch more now though. My memory has also got worse, which affects my work and life in general. I have been in a high dose of pregablin and night and a low dose in the day. I am actually weaning myself off the low dose and hope to start doing it with the high dose as I don't think it helps with the pain at all, it does allow me to get a few hours sleep though. I used to use CBD oil and stopped due to the expense. I may try it again though

Hello 👋, we can all understand how you feel because I too have Itchy skin on my head I feel sure this is fibromyalgia . This year I took my self of my painkillers due to reading the side effects which had been creating issues with my memory 🙃 and talking at times.

It took me six months to come off them all .

The results was outstanding my brain 🧠 felt alive and my memory improved and speech was normal.

I lost weight with out trying. Overall performance slowed down but my health improved . I now use a TENS machine to support my pain and warn oils to relax my muscles. I do chair exercises to keep my body moving and Stretching exercises to relax the pain away from my muscles.

The painkillers do not work after long use. I feel you are looking to do the right thing and you will see the difference.

Of course there will be withdrawal symptoms but do this slowly 🐌 and you will see great achievements ahead of you.

Talk to your GP about your painkillers and your plans to improve your lifestyle he might have some good information you could use . Good luck 👍 and take care. Xx

hi

I’ve alwayays had an itchy. Scalp too but about three months ago I went on pregablin and the itch got worse I’d never thought it was the tablets but now I’m sure I’ve. Got itch all over at times I’m sure it’s pre gambling taking that many tablets wasn’t sure but it has got worse the amount of people on different sites complaining about itchy scalps on similar meds I’m sure mines is to but when I read yours today it just seemed. To hit me I’m sure it is the tablets I’m going to ask my doctor as my side effects are worse than the original pain it’s. Like livinng in a bubble you don’t take anything in then something sticks out that’s how I felt today must be the brain fog it’s like your not listening but you are not taking it in it’s so many side affects you wonder if it’s worth it .but need something for the pain

Hi, I have suffered from an itchy scalp on and off over the years with fibro.I have been on pregablin since the itching begun so I don't think it has made a difference in my case.

My scalp used to itch so badly that I lost a lot of hair through scratching so be careful.

This was well before being prescribed pregablin.
