Just about to speak to Doctor soon, pain in legs that feels like growing pains especially when sitting and fatigue, does anyone else have symptoms like this not sure if it’s my hypothyroidism but tested not long ago and results were fine. Thanks

Hi, I have had pains in my legs like this on and off since I was 17. At the time I had a very old fashioned Dr who told me my jeans were too tight and I stopped going to see him as I got so fed up being told there was nothing wrong and I suppose I was young and thought they were actually still growing pains. I also used to spend occasional weekends in bed as I was so tired but thought that was because I have never slept well since a baby and it was just catching up with me. Over the years I had pain in other places but not really thought about it as it went away after a few days apart from a constant bad back, but put that down to my job in care. My brother died in 2019 and the pain got so much worse everywhere I had to give up work. I was finally diagnosed with fibro at age 54 but suspect I have had it much longer. Hope you get the help you need and you're Dr isn't like the one I saw 40 years ago.

Thank you so much and sorry for your loss, I lost my Dad in 2019, just the fact it comes and goes can be bad one night and ok the next but got telephone consultation tomorrow so hopefully it goes ok, suffer from anxiety as well. Thank again for your reply.
