I wanted to share: I had problems with the kettle, Lifting in to pour,It would tug on my wrist and hurt, I actually dropped it once,
Thankfully I'd just been filling it from the tap and not boiling 😫
So I thought If anyone else has the same problems and you are worried, We brought this,
It's a Laptronic instant hot water dispenser from Amazon not too expensive and you just place your cup under the spout and press the button, You'll have to be close though because It only stops when you press the button again,
Yep It's what it says on the box, It takes up just as much space as your kettle and gives you peace of mind you won't have to worry about having any accidents
I promise I'm not advertising a product nor am I getting any money for it, I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of others who like me may not be able to afford the 1 on the television that's connected to your tap,
just being kind 😊

I use the one cup kettle, no worries about having to be near it, it literally just does one cup, been using it for years, my husband fills it for me, not expensive either.
Sounds good, Blue-52 Maybe I should have thought more about the product I was so happy I didn't have to pick the big old kettle,
DOHHHH Iv'e just totally forgot about them 1's like in a canteens, You know tall white and get 30 and the rest cups, If fits in with my kitchen anyway 😄
Never mind, (hahaha brain fog? that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it)
I had the same problem and was worried about burning myself. I did still want a kettle as I constantly use hot water bottles, so I bought a small (1.25 litre) kettle with a handle that curves over the top rather than at the side. It feels more stable to lift and puts less pressure on my wrists. I wish I had made the switch years ago!
Thank you for reminding me about these kettles ! My sister used to have one and I forgot about them. I have been struggling with my hands and wrists for months but I haven’t told anyone how bad they are so I just carry on as normal. This will help me out massively as I have been worrying about dropping the kettle.
I am an extremely independent woman and I just face admitting defeat and asking for help yet so thank you 🫶
I'm sorry Bottleforlife that you feel unable to ask for help, I used to be like you with the Independent not asking for help,It's more that I couldn't manage on my own anymore because of the pain and exhaustion, I'm sorry you think your admitting to defeat🙄
It's great that you just keep going, Although asking for help Is not admitting defeat, I'd rather ask for help rather than struggle and end up in bed for days on end with a flare up
Hi, thank you for the tip, I have wrist and upper arm issues, I just use less water in my kettle or heat up milk etc in the microwave just now.. but I know how difficult it can be,
Hi there glad that you found that to help you out I have the same problem lisfting kettles etc and I got a sort of kettle called one cup, You can buy them on Amazon if you just put in search one cup kettle, you can fill it up as you would do a kettle but that defeats the object really I fill mine with a jug 🙂 Sharon x
