Hi, joints dislocating is potentially a symptom of hypermobility syndrome rather than fibromyalgia

Thank you for your reply, that's something I've never heard of so am gonna have to go research that. I seem to do a lot researching. Since I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia all I seem to do is research a lot.

I have Hypermobility Syndrome also known as Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and what you are describing fits with what happens unfortunately. I would recommend looking at the Hypermobility Association website, they have some good information. The other thing is see if there is a rheumatologist in your area that specialises in EDS that your GP can refer you to. Sorry I can't help much, every case is different but it is also genetic so if you have children or grandchildren they might get it at some stage, my daughter (43) and granddaughter (26) both have it too. Good luck xx

Thank you for replying. I don't have children and never will as I've had a hysterectomy. I no am only 43 but it was my own choice to have that . I have an appointment with my gp and he's thinking along the same lines but wants to talk to me more about all the symptoms am having.

It really is painful. I can spend up to 20 mins trying to get them back to the proper place and it hurts more than anything I've been through in my life.
