Turning point

Where on earth did that come from?

1st of January 2024 this year has just flown by,Not sure if that's a good thing or not, I have suffered a lot this year ,so maybe it's good,

I thought I had a few flare ups, Every time I saw my Doctor with little things she would say, "It's the Fibro," "your having a flare up."

So what I've just had is a flare up?

WHAT THE CHUFF!?

So what the heck was those times during the rest of the year? I could have quite easily ended things but obviously I didn't, It seems to get worse each time, I have had 2 falls this week alone, I was concentrating on getting to the pot at the bottom of my bed(, Our bathroom is downstairs)As I went to sit I just started to fall backwards, What I thought grabbing the floor lamp was going to help? Anyhoo Now my top from my lower neck all down my spine at my shoulder is killing me, Nothing serious just a few bruises are coming out, The other one I managed to twist to fall on my bed,Phewww,

No christmas tree or decs again this year, It's not the same without children, So this year we had haggis and neeps, Much tastier and nothing goes to waste, Another great thing is there is no turkey curry festering in the freezer ready to render me in the bathroom for 2 days,We ate whilst in my bed watching DVD's all day, All comfy and warm, Dogs and cat waiting to lick the gravy off the plates. Bliss,

Tonight will be similar but giving our animals lots of love and comforting words while all through the night ( they've started all ready) We all keep jumping, (so for me every time I jump I remember I hurt 😭

I do have some great news though,

On Thursday I get a yorkiepoo!! Not just another dog, No a therapy dog, Not had her training yet, So she will wake me when I have night terrors and sooth my thoughts when my anxiety and depression gets too much and when I just need to bring me back to the real world loving nudges,and paw touches and licking me, I feel honoured that we are only paying for the dog and the training comes with, I knew nothing about it so I have so much reading ahead of me,

What a shock, A happy one,

And 1 more thing, Instead of buying each other things we don't need or want we have 2 donkey's and 2 bird of prey sponsered, I think this may turn out to be a yearly tradition now and a good feeling in our tummies,

Sorry to read that you have felt so down at times, and sorry you've been having falls. But, hey, a new dog and a therapy one at that! Hopefully the new dog in the house, with the dogs and cat you already have will bring cheer to your life.
