Hi, I to have fibromyalgia and arthritis, I to do not go out as much as I once did. Do you find cold weather makes it flare up at all.

Hi Levicat. I’m 65. I was diagnosed with Fibro over 6years ago. I also have osteo arthritis COPD high cholesterol Asthma and Allergies 🤪 luckily I am mostly quite mobile and manage to get around ok. I’m going to a Fibro meeting on Friday. We have a guest coming to talk about self harming. Although I can be in constant pain I’m glad I’m still mobile. These forums are very good as you get a lot of help from them and you know your not alone. 👍

Hi Levicat , I think you will find this forum very supportive and with very good good advice .

I have had fibromyalgia for 8 years and have osteoarthritis in my feet and hands and knees.

It becomes a very small world when we have days and weeks when we just are not well enough to venture out .

A chronic condition like ours is not visible so it’s hard for folk to understand what we are going through and why we are not able to take part in social activities as often as we would so dearly like to .

It’s good that here we can reach out on our good and bad days and have fellow sufferers help us get through x

Hi my name is Joanne, I'm happy to chat as long as you are the glass half full type of person. I too have fibromylgia , arthritis depression and anxiety. I manage my pain levels most of the time with medication and then distraction techniques.

I had stopped going out much a year ago but have volunteered in a charity shop just so I'm out and meeting people a little. I've also joined a craft group of which the members are lovely and supportive.
