Hello everyone,Does anyone experience vaginal burning the next day after sex???
I had my first sexual relationship. At first we were just limited to foreplay. Every time my boyfriend fingers me, I will feel burning pain in my vagina the next day. And it will last for 2 weeks. I first thought maybe it's because I was virgin. When we finally had sex, I kept getting the burning pain. I thought he was cheating on me and gave me STD. so I went to the clinic for STDs screening, everything came back negative. And when I'm having my period the pain goes away. And come back right away after my periods.
Now I'm wondering if it's part of fibromyalgia symptoms???

Hi, I'm sorry you are suffering pain. It could be an allergy but I would advise you to get help from a gynecologist. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of it. I advise using lots of lubricant for any penetration. A doctor will be able to take a full history and examine you to find out how best to help. All the best.
Interstitial Cystitis is a comorbid condition with fibromyalgia where you can have symptoms like these but usually you would have lots of other symptoms aswell with your bladder, weeing a lot etc. It sounds tricky I think it would sensible to go to a doctor.
Vulvodynia is quite common in females diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Not all drs or gynaecologists are alive to this though.
Could you try going back to either your GP or a sexual health clinic and raise this with them? They could possibly refer you for specialist help.
It's often confused with recurrent thrush or possible STD as the burning and pain, particularly in response to stimulus from touch, can mimic the symptoms of both.
I would also advise you to avoid lubricants with scents. Keep it simple with KY or similar. I would also suffer this from condoms. Make sure you pee after sex even if just foreplay.
hi I suffered from IC for many years. I don’t have intercoarse as it’s not worth the burning itching then inflammation of the bladder. I’ve had bladder stretches and washes. My husband and I just have to enjoy those pleasures other ways. 😊
There's also lichen planus affecting the skin and the mouth. When oral it causes extreme burning pain in the mouth making it impossible to eat much and nothing spicy or with small bits as they get caught in the raw flesh and it kills. It also comes and goes in flares. Related to that is lichen sclerosis which affects areas of the genitals. Burning itching and swelling can all occur and for me as someone who has not been intimate with anyone since 2014, it happens anyway and it's really horrible. Google all these conditions and see if any sounds like what you've got, then take your research to the GP and seek referral/treatment if any is available.
Also check out vaginal atrophy, usually affects post menopausal women, but I don't know if it can happen earlier.
