I had a letter from pip which stated I have a telephone assessment on the Monday 26.06.2023 ( yesterday) at 2pm. No one called me at 2pm or all day. I’ve spoken to them and they blamed it on their systems being down but they said I should of been told about this. Then she said oh I know what the issue is. Somebody has wrote your contact details down too many digits apparently. So now I have to wait for another appointment time which she said could be another month waiting . I told the advisor I’m not happy about this. I now just have to wait. Really frustrating.

hello we have written or dialled the wrong number. I am sorry you will have to wait up to another month for your phone assessment. These thing happen and I can only recommend you make use of the extra time to be prepared for the eventual assessment by reading up on the criteria requirements for claiming PIP and make sure your able to answer the potential possible questions to meet the requirements. Good luck and try not to worry just read up a little each day so it becomes second nature for you.

Thankyou. I am in a lot of pain. I had to give my day shifts up in work because I knew there was something wrong , I could no longer keep up with the work 😢 I now work nights where I can work at my own pace and the service is a lot quieter. I work with mental health. Days are really busy . The staff are all aware I have fibromyalgia and the team are very supportive . It’s lovely when I have an understanding team around me .
