Pip review

Hi everyone i dont really put much on hear but i always read people's comments which i find very helpful... I've just had my pip review 3wks ago and had a decision back today Friday opened it up and to my great surprise I have been awarded enhanced for both mobility and care and I continued to read the letter to migrate surprise I have been awarded it for 10yrs with a light review i was so shocked my hands were shaking as i red threw the decision makers comments they have override ATOS decision because of my medical notes and the letters from my consultants so some goodness has come from the DWP for once good luck to everybody else

Hi i have chronic fatigue syndrome fibromyalgia degenerative disc disease and bowel disease and 2 bladder condition that fights against each other

Argh that’s horrible. Although your never get better 10 years of peace is nice. And I’ve been told the ongoing period is another word basically for indefinite!

Well they say with a light touch review but nothing has really changed yet i red somewhere there really waiting to see what happens after 2023 to make changes thats if they get in power again

Hi i was on enchanted before for 3yrs i got welfare rights to help me with the new review forms as they have changed this year i found it worse than the first forms they are trying to catch you out all the time you have 3 boxs to fill in for one answer you are just repeating yours over and over its a horrible form

Yes! I’m in the US, but apparently it seems like a nightmare there to get benefits. Good for you!

Its a shock 10yrs i had to keep reading it to take it in because the f2f was a nightmare the assessor kept trying to trick me in to talking to her but it was the DWP that gave me more points because of my paperwork

That’s great I am dreading my review I have enhanced for both for 4 years but will be reviewed next year

Hi its just the stress of it all makes you so poorly mine took 6mths from start to finish thats why they do it a year before hand the reviews are worse because of how long they take

My end date is March 2021 so I know they will contact me next year so you know if everyone who has enhanced gets the soft touch or is it f2f again

My application has been rejected. I am going to CAB Friday to put together a letter. Will I have to have another assessment. I found the first very stressful and I really don’t want another.

Not sure my friend she was on standard for both and they have given her no points at all shes gone to a mandatory reconsideration so shes waiting on that
