Hi there, I am surprised they never told you your left leg would drop off and your right eye would fall out too πŸ™„πŸ™„

The answer is no. And do your really think a GP would give anyone that kind of medication if it was true.

Have you read the

Side effects sheet that comes with the pills? Unless its stated on the side effects sheet I think you will be ok.

Has for the shoulder pain. Definitely it could be fibro related. But then it could be pain related to other things too.

Shoulder pain - please don't assume it is fibro related. I had the same and put it down to the dreaded fibro and delayed speaking to my GP. Months later calcific tendonitis diagnosed on x-ray. That also goes for any new pains, we fibro folk are just as likely to get something else along with the fibro but we tend always to think, as do some GPs, that every pain is fibro. Always best to check with the medics. As for the gabapentin I'm afraid I can't comment as all prescription meds seem to disagree with me.

Hi Bernieandralph,

,I Can see why you may be worried I think I must have the same , My teeth have all been taken out bar six, Their going next week from my dentist and as for dementia, the brain fog can get scary (in no way I am not putting dementia and fibro fog in the same brackets,)

relax and go with what your doctor prescribes. Hope you can find the right meds soon o Take care of yourself

Hiya Bernie,

A lot of us start on Gabapentin n after a few years they move u onto Pregabalin. Tbh I found Gabapentin much better for taking the edge off the pain. I’m not green, I don’t have extra fingers n I haven’t grown an extra head lol! Gentle hugs πŸ˜ŠπŸ€—
