Migration from DLA to PIP was paused in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, & then there have been many new PIP claims, which are being prioritised. So, this transfer has been delayed until April 2028, unless you report a change or ask to move over to PIP, or are close to the end of a fixed award.

(The exception is those born on or before 8 April 1948 who will continue on DLA so long as they remain eligible).

That answers my question. I was born on 4. 2. 48, so I apparently squeak in under the dateline. Thanks you for the clarification.

Hi, Yes, I'm still on DLA, I only get Care though at the highest level. I'm 75.
