Hello everyone

Some good news for a change received letter today saying I've been awarded DLA, higher mobility and middle rate care for an indefinite period I'm so relived, and it will be back dated.

Oh great :-) I'm so pleased for you, you must be so relieved and also to get it backdated is even better. I hope this makes bearing your condition a little bit easier and that you can get the care you need.

Positive thoughts coming your way :-)

Thank you to everyone it is a good feeling. And broadband I'm keeping everything crossed for you.

Can anyone tell me do I still have to pay for my prescriptions, dentist etc as I do now. Xxx

Well done. I had a similar result last year and the back dated payment was received within a couple of weeks. I don't pay for prescriptions but that's for another medical reason. I think even on DLA you do pay for them and dentist.

Well done.

I won my appeal on tuesday and got told they no longer give indfinate claims. I had an indefinate before and still had it taken away, thats why I had to appeal. Just watch them.
