Hi there, everyones questions will be based on what they put on there forms when applying for pip.

No one knows what you put on your forms. So to be honest it would not be ethical to reply to questions based on another persons answers.

All you have to do is take your time before answering a question then answer it honestly.

Try to make yourself some notes before the assessment - if you cannot find your form, then look up the descriptors and make notes on how you would answer them

You may also be asked about your household, type of house you live in, hobbies /interests, medication etc

I have nearly set the kitchen on fire as forgot I had the pan boiling. Happening a lot this past year. I had a PIP interrogation at the start of the pandemic, had to go to court. I need to thank a brilliant lawyer for helping me win my case two years later . Phone interrogations are the pits. I couldn't even speak properly yet they still downgraded me to standard . I finally won the higher amount on appeal. I can walk but cannot go out. So it is BS that those with severe mental health issues ever win the mobility. I am now waiting for another PIP interview..Oh happy days

Be honest, tell them you are anxious and they will prompt you to answer more fully by asking "why is that?' They don't ask why because they disbelieve you. For example: " I'm tired and it hurts "

" Why are you tired? Where does it hurt? How bad is the pain? How long does it take you? Etc"

They're not there to catch you out, but will need to know how it feels from your point of view.

Have some notes with you and relax. You can ask for the assessment to be recorded. It will help if you listen to it and phone if there's something you forgot to tell them. All helps if you need to appeal. Hugs xx
