Hello fellow fibro folk, has anyone received a phone call from capita? I had a voice mail asking me to ring them back about my review claim and I'm wary. Isn't it awful that we have become so suspicious of talking to people who are supposed to be impartial. X

Pip phone call
I have not had a verbal communication apart from once when I had an assessment date they rang to check if I was coming! You are not paranoid we have to be vigilant as Capita call could be genuine or not. If you have sent in forms and they are responsible for your assessment they could be asking you about attending a centre?
Please do not worry.
Would it be possible for you to get someone to ring on your behalf? That might be the best thing to do x
Hi furry be careful what you say I got a call last time from esa for my mr and they took 2 points off me due to fone call. Gdluck take care x
Hi yes it is usual to get a call back from these people but be careful. Best to rearrange the call let some one else speak to them while they are with you. Make sure they repeat all the info from your original application.
Never say your illness has improved. If they are happy with the info given on tel more than likely you will not be called back for assessment.

I have always thought that DWP ought to set up a 'password' system when they call you, to set your mind at ease that it is a genuine call. Sky do this when you sign up for Internet service with them. You'd think a Government Department could do likewise, but maybe not.
