aching feet!!

hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone else has been suffering with bad feet ach no matter wot shoes one wears? Especially across the top of the foot, but very little swelling only at the bottom of the ankle a little pouch if I can describe it that way.

Thats how my feet look. I have plantar fasciitis. I have to wear specially made orthotics. Also my weight doesn't help. Also some medications can make them swell.

I don’t have Fibromyalgia, I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and Polymyalgia Rhumatica but I have the same problem as you, aching feet, mainly on the tops. It’s so painful. I am taking Amlodipine, Prednisolone and Methotrexate so not sure if any of these are causing this. I find that light pressure helps a bit. I hope you get an answer to the problem. Have you seen your GP about it? Mine thinks it may be arthritis but I’m not so sure.

hi I have told my old GP he was a lovely man but has retired recently so I have told a female GP she said to do a self referral , I did but appointment is in April earliest. I had a feeling she was kinda passing me on pronto….there wasn’t a point to me telling her my pain, like I was being an exaggerator or something… that was just wot I felt from her, I no GP,s r under pressure but a little kindness in approach to patients helps us to try & describe our symptoms a little more clearly, & not fluster our way through, that’s just my opinion.

I have this too the swelling around the ankles, can’t get rid of it even with water tablets x

I have fibro and my feet look like yours too. In fact my shoe size has been a uk 5, since I was a teenager. Swelling is at sides and front of my foot and now wearing a size 7. My feet feel like they’re on fire a lot too. Are yours like that ?

I’ve tried water tablets but didn’t work for me.

hi yes I hate hot feet, but I do get a lot of vibration in them to especially the left foot. I have a foot spa which is great & I do ride a bike, now my knees r joining in too…. All I can do is electric heat pad & feet up no socks strange but fibro is nothing but strange pain.🥴🙄💁‍♀️

Avon have a good selection of foot creams. I put cream on my feet at night and then put some Avon night socks on . It works for me.

Mine hurt underneath and kind of all through, as if I've walked 1000km barefoot over hot, rocky ground, or like there are rocks inside my feet digging into the insides when I walk, but I find walking barefoot when I can helps and also walking over actual rocky ground (not too sharp lol) is like a massage and relieves the pain, too. Sounds a bit different kind of pain, but it may help x
