pip assessment
Hi there, going on my own experience. Yes definitely if you say you have changes. They would need to assess those changes.
Sometimes it has happened they dont do an assessment if you say things have not changed. But If they feel you need to be re assessed it could also be via phone. They dont alway do a f2f.
Its a lucky dip reall I guess 🤷♀️ But make sure you post your forms back asap due to the post strikes they may not receive them on time.
I got a card only yesterday that was posted on the 15th Dec. Good luck.
Hi, I have been through this just recently, I was on standard daily when first applying back in 2020, since then I have made 2 reviews, I have other health issues on top of the fibromyalgia, after sending every single letter from the hospital, with no assessment they paid me full PIP, but still awaiting on an award letter?
Be sure to complete it, or they will stop it. If you need help contact your local citizens advice who will be more than willing to help you. Let us know how you get on, or if anyone here can help?
Do you have arthritis? With you saying about the stretching sensation. That's what my Dr told me mine was, but there again I have recently been diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome, and all my symptoms pointed to that and due to been fobbed off constantly, nothing was investigated until I became so unwell I ended up in A&E having an adrenal crisis! Test after test last year. If you feel there's more going on with your health than before, the chances are there probably is, unfortunately I believe that as soon as we are given a fibromyalgia diagnosis, this is used as an excuse for any other ailment. Keep going back to GP , ask for tests to be done, they have a duty of care to investigate your concerns. As for pip put in as much information as possible, how your condition affects you on a daily basis, it also helps if you give consent for them to contact your GP or any other health professional you may be in the care of. Hope this helps, shout anytime if you get stuck with the form.
I have pain in my left leg making appointment to see doctor and need blood to see what’s the problem
Hiya Thor,
Every time something from DWP arrives I feel anxious wondering what I have to do now. All u need to do is fill in all that has changed since your last assessment plus any new equipment u now have to use. My first ever PIP was completed with help from the CAB but now I complete them myself. The reason was when I went for my first face to face I couldn't remember what the CAB put on the form. A good tip is to keep a copy of what information u put on every form, I type mine up firstly on my laptop then when u need to tell them any changes u can refer back to what u last told them. Happy to help u if u are struggling just message. 😊🤗
