good morning

So I forgot to take my medication for 2 days during last day and travel day of my holiday, I felt better in my self. I don’t feel the medication really helps for my pain at all, but causing more mood side effects as I’ve felt better not been on them.

My body is still stiff and uncomfortable daily but manageable.

Has anyone eles been on this medication and stopped taking it

Im scared of making the wrong decision.

Hello. I would ring your doctor for a call back and explain, easy done being on holiday as our routines change and normally we are very relaxed, I take it but I’ve never stopped suddenly, at least for a piece of mind as you might soon get the after effect of the tablet not being in your system , you are normally weaned off meds gradually as properly know, let us know how you get on xx

morning. So the doc had me in for emergency app and suggested taking slightly lower and decreasing over next 2 weeks.

So I tuck my lower dose and I slept from 10-6 I can’t believe it i was shocked to wake up and learn I’ve slept all night. So clearly the right thing to do even though I do feel the medication makes me feel worse clearly my body is dependent on at.

See how I am after being weaned off them, I just don’t think they do anything for my pain so I am keep to come off them and see how I cope. ❤️ Thank you for your reply xxx

glad you had a catch up with the doc, I was put on them for anxiety which worked wonders in coping with fibro/cfs, I read docs use them for fibro patients now, I take one 60mg at night but can double up if need be, I am able too have Codiene on days pain threshold is high on the understanding it’s not used every day, it kicks in for a good couple of hours on 30mg and I have been able to use them sometimes without any addiction , i am guessing there are much higher dose ages. Take care see how you get on and if you feel your not winning with the pain go back and see the doctor xxxx
