Duloxatine with Etoricoxib

I’ve just been put on 60 mg of Etoricoxib a day with my duloxatine 60 mg as my pain has gone off the scale this past month...is any one else on this drug combination ?🥴 it’s my 1st day on the Etoricoxib but I’ve been on the duloxatine for months now... 😘😘

Etoricoxib is an anti- inflammatory drug and Duloxetine is an anti-depressant with pain relieving qualities that is licensed as a fibromyalgia treatment. There are lots of anti-inflammatory drugs so combining one of them with Duloxetine is very common. Often Pregabalin or Gabapentin is part of the mix, especially for nerve pain. It may take a couple of weeks for you to see any benefit and if you get none, your GP may suggest other drugs as getting the right one for you is a bit trial and error. Keep a pain diary so you can easily look back and reach a judgement on whether the pills are benefitting you.

COX2-inhibitors flared my skin. I'm glad I'm off amitriptyline again, too little help, way too many side effects...

I have used them for years with other medication and is very effective for me

I have used them for years too along with Pregabalin and other medication it works for me too. I hope it helps you but just give it time to work. Good luck xx
