Hi yes I’ve tried both of these, gabapentine didn’t help at duloxetine did help but upset my ibs and couldn’t tolerate it I hope you have more success
PRP would be more for tissue generation and mending. So would not be something for fibro
I am on duloxtene and works fairly well for me , i do have orange juice , plenty of salads with meals , veg ,fruit as it can make me constipated sometimes. But in general for me personally I’ve stuck with this now for about 5 years, it is trial and error sometimes getting meds that help but hopefully we get there in the end x

I was on Gabapentin for many years, it helped a bit but it made me put on a lot of weight which I really didn't like. So did Pregablin, which was even worse in that respect so wouldn't go back on them now. Managed to get rid of most of that weight now at least.
I had been on duloxetine for many years & it worked well for me. Only changed recently because they weren't as effective, probably because I had been on them too long & my body was used to them. They did take 3 to 4 weeks to work in the first place though.
I am now on gabapentin and they are working brilliantly. Wonderful to be out of that particular pain, but osteoarthritis pains in back, sacriliac, hips & knees still to cope with!

I've never had any side effects from duloxetine or gabapentin either, so I've been lucky there.Take care x

Hi. Have been hypothyroid hashimotos Fibro diagnosed for 12 years. The best things that have worked for me is ZERO pharmaceuticals. BUT here is what has worked for me and has my rheumatologist saying “ I’m his highest functioning Fibro patient”....
Fresh Pinapple about 2-3 cubes every day or every other day..after a meal. MUST BE FRESH no canned. You need the live enzymes. Its VERY POTENT..dont think you will eat a whole pineapple and get rid of fibro..that;s not how it works. If you eat too much..you will do intestinal damage. Takes 48 hours for your muscles to feel less pain. Make sure you sleep as much as you want. I know that can’t be for everyone all the time...but Melatonin and 5-HTP in small doses helps in this equation....AND warm to hot baths before bed helps with the sleep pain... THIS had made it so my life is less miserable and able to function in a normal work environment. YOUare going to have less bad days and more productive days. Dont be bummed if you have a day or two in a row that are bad. Its gonna happen. But I will say..I can do my own projects around the house more frequently. Also, you will find the pineapple will help with skin conditions and your skin will start to feel much smoother in 2 weeks. Pineapple helps break down your food for you and the enzymes will help in digestion and nutrient absorption which is what Fibro people are lacking.
As far as pharmaceuticals..they did not help with sleep or pain —- NONE...but they will screw up your system and you will gain a shit ton of weight. Dont do it. The weight gain will make you feel crapier and your pained muscles try to pull MORE WEIGHT.
Also, just recently discovered organic pipe tobacco..one pinch a day every other day...helps A LOT with making you drowsy, relaxed and helps with overall inflammation. I’m NOT TALKING CIGARETTES.. I’m talking your grandfathers’ pipe tobacco that you pack yourself. Its not laced with cancer chemicals to make it burn a certain way or filters that are made with CHEMICALS that you inhale. There are many aromatic pipe tobaccos you can get shipped online. One of my favorites is Sir Walter Raleigh aromatic. Its sweet smelling and really you just need a few puffs hold and let go. Do this in the evening. If you have a good full sleep that night and following night...deep sleep keep going. There are a few rare people that tobacco will make hyper..in this case, this for some reason wont work with your system. Stop the tobacco..its more potent than you think..like the pineapple. The native Americans smoked for hundreds of years..they did it minimally...and naturally. There are medicinal properties in organic tobacco.
I had fantastic sleep the first and following nights. I now do tobacco in the evening every 2-3 days. Less inflammation. My skin is more pliable and supple. My skin was hard and thick...and now it looks more like when I was in my 20s. Before all this crap started happening. I have it down to maybe one bad day a week if that.
Also, drinking distilled water..add lemon or lime or both. making sure you should also not eat after 7pm 8pm at the latest..and I only eat melon or citrus till noon. Lemon and/or Lime in your water during the night fast is great for keeping your colon clean so you can get those nutrients into your body. Get a bit of sun per day. I’ve also had even better improvement when I moved to Florida.. The sun has been a great benefit. I think we have been told a lie..that everything will give you cancer. If that were true, why were native Americans living into their 100s while in the sun and smoking tobacco?
Pub Med research also confirms this. Make the distinction between Tobacco and Cigarettes. One is processed with chemicals..the other is not. I have been doing pipe tobacco now for 3 months. Its been amazing sleep since and less inflammation!
when I read this article below... I just about fainted!! The nicotine receptors become almost like a shield for your cells..giving them a break from chemicals or even a shield for viruses. This is why most cigarette smokers were NOT getting sick by flu or colds.
Open your mind and start to think about the tobacco industry...before 1950s and the cigarette industry after. What was different? How long have humans been smoking tobacco? How many hundreds of years were Europeans smoking tobacco? When did it become no longer organic? Why did it “become” addictive? We’re native Americans smoking cigarettes pack after pack?..while on a horse, while hunting, while fishing? How often do did they smoke the pipe?

I hope people start here first before they put things in their bodies that might make their situation worse. 'Ive been on all these drugs..my body rejected Savella the worst.
For other treatments find someone who does SCENAR.
Food sensitivity testing.
I found out that when I stop all grains, pasta and bread and those on my sensitivity list that I am so much better. That list can change monthly. If you eat too much of one thing your body can develop and immune response. I am so much better after following these minor changes in my diet. Cut the sugar down to one tablespoon in your coffee...and once or twice a week a special treat. The lower the sugar the better. Do not substitute with artificial sweeteners. Sugar is bad..but its still better in small quantities than the artificial chemicals.
Things that make me feeling full are Sunflower seed butter, bananas, avocado or Guacamole and Nuts. Find a GMO organic tortilla chip if you get the crazies. Melons are high in enzymes and easy on the intestines. Oranges and citrus are very cleansing. If you do the Melon and citrus for 7 days..you might have some diarrhea toward the end..but and it will be awful smelling because there is a lot of old crap coming out.
Don't drink coffee during this time. Try not to go out too much unless you know a restroom will be there. If you start to get some skin lesions or weird things...hives or itchy spots..its your body trying to get rid of toxins thru the skin because your body cannot keep up.
Its going to suck as there might be things happening you are not used to. It shouldn't be that awful..but if you have anything that makes you feel like something is really wrong..then seek your doctor. Also, if you have any other health issues that this might complicate like diabetes....seek your doctor before you do this.
