back pain

doctor thinks i may have fibromyalgia after 6 months of stiffness and pain in arms and legs/head aches and confusion

yesterday suddenly in was in really pain in my lower back is ,this something else i have to cope with . Struggling to even move

Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain in your back, it could be Fibro related or it may not be. You should have a word with your GP to see what he thinks, he may want you to go for x-ray just to make sure.

Thank you Being a newbie to fibro get pain in most joints and stiff arms not got back pain before. Struggling to even stand straight come on when msking the bed.

Will try doctor when i can get appointment

Because fibromyalgia pain is due to disordered pain processing and not illness /injury to a specific area , it will tend to move from one area to another

Thank you for you help.Had the stiffness and the pain in my arms and legs since january. Not had issue eoth my back just suddenly started when i was trying to make the bed

I've had mild back pain with my fybro for at least 3 years. It does go off the scale pain wise occasionally (off work with it at the moment) as long as your scans are clear of anything major it is another 'you'll have to live with it' symptom of this illness. Just finished another session of physio where the back is back to a manageable level of pain for now
