Oh , Dear , I'm sure with some rest and ' Me Time' it will begin to feel manageable again.
I wouldn't try to do yoga on your most achy and fatigued days , except for the lightest , non held , stretches or the end of session relaxation poses on the mat with breathing .
Lying down , eyes closed and doing deliberate deep breathing can help chest pain.
Try and get your recommended amount of water each day too and extra Vitamin C , on top of your usual vitamin and mineral supplement , as it can help your body cope with the Pain Fatigue.
Just try and have a little slow walk inside or stretch for a couple of minutes each hour as it can help you shake off the Fatigue a little quicker.
Don't feel bad about having Fatigue , you can't help it and you are clearly trying to do all you can to improve your symptoms. I hope you feel your better Fibro Self very soon.
Thank you, I’m not good at taking my supplements and my last blood test showed low iron and b12. My doctor has referred me but I don’t know that much yet in terms of the best supplements etc to take x
A full complex vitamin and mineral supplement is a good start , have it straight after your fattiest meal each day , as lots of vitamins are fat soluble so you absorb more of them , and the supplement goes through the system slower with your digesting food.
Did your GP test your Vitamin D level as well?
Most don't , and query doing it , but Fibro is often made worse by low Vitamin D , and we use a lot more of it in body recovery so ask them for it at your surgery.
Alot of people with various Chronic Pain or Joint conditions take extra Vitamin D each day over that in their daily supplement. You check how much you get in the daily pill , and then get a Vitamin D supplement.
Omega 3 is a good addition , but not the combined version , as Omega 6 has an inflammatory effect and can increase feelings of pain .
Magnesium helps with restless legs , tingling nerve pain and your metabolism and brain function.
Vitamin B12 is advisable as a daily single supplement as , again , we use more in dealing with chronic symptoms and it helps reduce Fatigue and joint stiffness.
Extra Vitamin C is good at times if Fatigue or infection , and it helps you to absorb Iron so it's worth having a little orange juice with your food or when you take the iron supplements they may have given to you. It's easier on the stomach to take iron with food.
What has your GP referred you for , if you don't mind discussing it?

My heart goes out to you Mrsbjane. It is really hard when you are in pain and feeling exhausted from the fatigue. I have had fibro now for 11 years and I would say to you that it's really important to listen to your body and to give it what it needs. Also let go of any guilt you may be carrying. You have done absolutely nothing wrong. Treat yourself with the kindness and gentleness you deserve.
If you want to post any questions please don't worry about if you think they might sound silly or embarrassing. They're not. I bet you will find some of us have the same thing and will understand. Take care xx
Thank you for your kind reply, nice to know I’m not alone. I am sleeping so much lately and struggling to keep up with everything, I love to swim really helps with my mental health, but went today managed my swim but was at the point of passing out just trying to get dressed, so frustrating 😪
Oh, I feel for you Mrsbjane. I love swimming too, but you have to think about the afterwards, drying yourself and getting dressed and for me getting the bus back home!
With all your struggles and not coping I relate, as will so many of us here. It's like drowning. But, for me, I've learned over the years that acceptance is the key. And rejecting the guilt, embarrassment and even shame. They aren't yours to carry. They don't belong to you in any way.
It helps to take it one step at a time. Baby steps. And, as you say, you are not alone. You have me, and the others, to share your journey with. I am sending you all my love and big hugs along with it xx 🤗💝🙏
